Wild Flowers

I have often wondered about the wild flowers. It does seem strange that such unnumbered multitudes should bloom in the wild places of the earth where perhaps nobody ever sees them and the wild animals walk over then and crush them. They have so much beauty and sweetness to give and no one on whom to lavish it, nor who will even appreciate it.
Perhaps these beautiful tiny flowers can teach us something?
"Nothing my Father and I have made is ever wasted" These flowers do have a wonderful lesson to teach. They offer themselves so sweetly and confidently and willingly, even if it seems that there is no one to appreciate them but the creator. They happily do exactly what they were created to do. Exact;y what they were commanded. They are beautiful even if they are not doted upon by man. If only I could be like the wildflowers of the earth! For even my name is that of a wildflower; should it not be my nature to be like one? Actually I find it quite the opposite to be true. In the depths of me I desire to be noticed for my deeds and thought highly of. Humbleness. Teach me humbleness Oh Lord!

An heir of God and a joint heir with Jesus
Blessed coming in and going out
An inheritor of eternal life
Blessed with all spiritual blessings
Healed by His stripes
Given power over the Enemy
More than a conqueror
Walking by faith and not by sight
Bringing every thought into captivity
A living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God
Loved with everlasting love
The temple of God
Cleansed from all unrighteousness
Protected with Gods shield of love
Reconciled to God by the death of His son
Created by Him and for Him
The light of the world
Wonderfully and fearfully made.

The Faces of our Youth

Many older people seem to take an unmerited pride in the mere fact that they are adults.
When youth come crashing in on them with enthusiasm and ideals, they put on their most patronizing smiles and send them out with what they call their blessings.
But you and I know that they have not given their blessings but a cold shower.
They pat the young man or young woman on the back and say:
“You’re young. Enjoy your enthusiasm and your ideals while you can.
For when you grow up and grow out into the world you’ll see how foolish your ideas actually were.”
And the trouble is, young people do grow up and grow away from their ideals.
And that is one reason why the world into which they go gets better so slowly.

I am currently a student at TCC. I was getting my Assoc. In Science. I am about to change it to an art degree. My dream is to travel the world! I have been to many places, but my quest has only begun. I have been anywhere from the Bahamas to Cancun New Mexico and other various places in the USA. This summer I spent 4 weeks in Chile and last summer I lived in The British Virgin Islands for 1 month. I am very interested in different cultures and environments. Music feeds my soul and dance is how I express it. I am secretly a fan of all things classic such as cars, movies, music, photos, and dance. I like people who are not afraid to be themselves. Uniqueness is a trait that is far and few between. Live as if today were your last. Each and every single day is a gift from God! use it!
